People are often scared of this but there is no need to be. Below I will show you just how easy it is. These are the basic steps that we will follow:
- Download Akeeba Quickstart
- Upload Akeeba Kickstart to your hosting package
- Download the latest WordPress installation from WordPress.org
- Upload the zip file to your hosting package (in the same folder as Kickstart)
- Create a database for your website on your hosting package
- Run Akeeba Quickstart
- Run the WordPress Installer
- Delete the Akeeba files and the wordpress zip file
